WELCOME TO THE RAY

The Ray is a proving ground for the evolving ideas and technologies that will transform the transportation infrastructure of the future, and it starts on 18 miles of West Georgia’s I-85, and the land and communities surrounding it.

By innovating from the ground up, The Ray is creating a corridor that reconnects and restores, paving the way to a safer and more prosperous future for all.

Implementing PTC has required resources from across the industry and supplier community and in excess of $13B of capital.

Norfolk Southern’s Lisa Wilson will discuss the system and what it does and some of the technology and hurdles in implementing an interoperable safety system on 60,000 miles of railroad.
